Ladies, don’t you ever feel the need to just get cute for ya man one day? It’s sad to say but just because you got him don’t mean he might not look the other way. Self-esteem is important, ESPECIALLY in a relationship, and that self-esteem comes from YOU. I’m not saying you’re ugly, we are all beautiful inside and out. What I’m saying is get up and do something with yourself, your life.
Depend on yourself to get things done, and use ya man as your support system. He wanna pay for your hair and nails, etc? That’s fine, just make sure you got money of your own in your wallet. It’s an amazing feeling to not have to depend on anyone for anything. It’s an amazing feeling when your hair is laid, nails is done, eyebrows on fleek, your man wouldn’t even care about anything else. What game he was going to see? Oh, y’all watching that together now. Although your man should accept you as you are, and it’s great that he does so, but you should want to do more for you.
Also, you and your child(ren) come before any dude. Make sure you and your child(ren) is right before you go out turning up, ESPECIALLY in front of your child(ren). THESE KIDS AIN’T DUMB! The generation switched on us, my lil’ nephew can tell me how to google something and what “ridiculous” means, “disappointed”, and can spell his own name, and he’s only four years old. 🤨 When I was four, I think the other teens was double-dutching, hop-scotching, and allat. I wasn’t disappointed or nothing but sheesh, look at the generations!!
