Stevie Styles has done is again, releasing his latest mix “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger“, with the determination of a beast. After battling in the Jersey Club producer battle for his first time, Stevie continued to push forward in bettering himself as a producer. When I say this I mean Stevie studied his music deeply, bass, vocals, zips, etc. I was amazed at not only Stevie’s approach, but how determined he was to be heard. It’s literally late nights of figuring out when we can do with this, or how we can do that, and who best fits each part played.
As I’ve grown to know Stevie, it’s always networking, networking, networking. Now he’s dropping thoughts and starting new projects each day. I’ve had to sit and tame the beast, but when one has a love for Jersey Club, it’s different. Jersey Club brings us together, Jersey Club wakes us up in the morning, Jersey Club was passed from generations and generations. Shall I go on? The positivity you feel once that 135 bpm got you going, nothing can stop you because Jersey Club is the only thing that understands you like you understand it. Like many, juggling many things at one time can be a bit excessive on the mind. That does not mean one shall be excluded or discredited, because just like Stevie, you are trying; and that’s his mindset. “I’m gonna get it done.” You never know what any talent consists of behind the scenes and off. The fact that we’re still so committed makes us a team. #JiggyThvt !
What I love so much about this hear track is you get to see a few different styles in one. It’s kind of a techno vibe as well as a booty bounce wave. I can pop lock, and then “LADIES BOOTY BOUNCE TO THIS”, and little booties matter okurrrr. But this track is just a fine example of the versatility within Jersey Club music, and Jersey Club dance.
