90’s Born, Jersey Club Raised đź”Ą

Everyone has a different style in everything they do. Some of us write with our left hand, and some write with our right hand. Well, with Jersey Club, everyone has their own sound in a way. If you really listen to and understand Jersey Club music and the producers behind it, you can pretty much tell who made what. That’s their style, that’s what grasps people towards their music.

Tazz has a unique way of relating to 90s R&B music. When I say a 90s baby born and raised, I mean, he makes you feel each song deeper than what the artist intended. It could be an emotional song, and by his chops and placement of certain excerpts taken from the song, he makes you feel the artist way more than what the artist has intended for you to feel. His most recent remix to “Don’t Take It Personal,” made it a better one of those days where I didn’t mind being alone. To be honest, I still listen to that song each day. It was one of the best ways of chopping up a 90s song I have ever heard. Tazz’s, style of Jersey Club is 90s R&B, and that’s what he does best, there’s no one else that you can give a slow sad song to, and they flip the song to where you aren’t crying or in the concert with that person, you are now on the dance floor rocking your hips, and gettin’ low.

His most recent remix to “Stretch You Out,” ft Opxra, rose the hairs on my chest. In the parts of a song where a female is supposed to cry and share her emotions, she is now booty bouncing and experiencing a different vibe. That’s one of the things these artists hate about their songs being remixed, It sounds better than the original, they’re just too prideful to say “Yo that was fire, let’s work!” I remember my first time singing a Jersey Club remix to “I Wanna Be Down,” and Tazz saying “I made a remix to that!” And ya’ll know me, I love Jersey Club, just because one person did something to a song one time, doesn’t mean it can’t get flipped a different way. When I heard that “I Wanna Be Down,” off of “The So-so 90s Tape,” the whole tape got thrown in my favorites, and I forgot about the last version of the song I was singing. He has a gift, or as our elderly would say “That man was here before!” The slow jamz are absolutely my favorite part of his style.

BABYGIRL, you got a DONKEY! There’s a slow jam side with Tazz. His melodies, chops, and emotions felt in, and put in the song, are evident. I love listening to Jersey Club music where it is evident that the music was made with a passion. Forget what anybody says, From any standpoint, as a fan, Tazz, I’m diggin’ you!
