Music is a form of expression. Making music is a different type of expression, it’s your choice of freedom to express your emotions to people who may feel the same way. Opxra has a different style of music, he can literally sit at the computer and work with anything given. When it comes to his music, I don’t want to hear any samples or sneak peeks, because I’m going to continuously bother him about that one zip. I fell in love with the way his mindset works, as soon as he sits at a laptop or desktop. His hand-eye coordination is amazing, right down to his thought of flow. It’s crazy because, I asked him certain things when making music and his response was literally, “I just do it, When you have a passion for something, you just do it.” What’s even crazier is off the top of his head, he can tell you the shortcut to something on a digital audio workstation.
Look how in-depth he is in the photo above. That shows that he takes this as a passion, while some may sit here and joke around. Jersey Club isn’t a 1,2,3 process, and for people to say one thing about it, that they don’t know, or understand, he’s going to make you understand through music. That’s why people truly hate to get in-depth of things, because it’s hard to compete where you CAN compare, you just have too much pride to say “Yo, let’s work.” “Bro I was handed a laptop with a few things downloaded, after that I figured it out by myself.”- Opxra
Anywho, what’s crazy to me is Opxra’s attention span. He can literally sit and do at least three things at once, and even if he forgot what he wanted to do to a song, it’s okay because the next idea is usually ten times better. The zip I kept singing one day was “That Boy’s A Liar,” because that song is very melodic as is, so I was curious about what he was going to do with it. That’s what I love about producers, you never know what some of them are going to do to a song, show me something new, and he still flipped it. Now I have to play that at least one time during my day. As a brick bandit, I can honestly say he say he is one of the youngest doing what wasn’t done for him. He has a open hand for anybody, and still will set up a battle the Jersey Club way, because that’s what started the great networking anyway.
Since then, he has released at least about five tracks and is currently working on many more. You never know what’s up Opxra’s sleeve, sometimes I never do. I guess here is where we all wait.
