Current Failure, For Future Success

Daily writing prompt
How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Failure is to fail at one thing at a point in time. When you think deeply about it, it doesn’t mean that you can’t try again, or do whatever it is from a distance, or in a different way. In the words of the late R&B Singer Aaliyah, ” ‘Cause if at first, you don’t succeed, you can dust it off and try again”. People take failure a lot deeper than what it is depending on the situation forgetting that everything is not for them. Sometimes we have to take losses in order to remember where we came from, or who we really are deep down inside as a person. In senses like this, we don’t realize that it is a lesson, when you fail one time, it’s because you forgot something behind. When I say this, I mean it’s something you truly need to dig into before you can succeed.

Failure has sent me into success plenty of times. Usually, they say before you succeed, you’ll fall plenty of times, and sometimes either your parents, siblings, or friends allow you to fall because they have to allow you to grow and learn things on your own. Learning on your own allows you to succeed in the future in many ways because now you have made mistakes that you know not to make again, or how to move around it when it does happen again. Also, not every “failure” is a “failure”, just as they say sometimes every loss isn’t a loss, sometimes it is a process of your succession. Meaning it needed to happen.

Am I successful now? Yes. What failures did I take? Focusing on the wrong things, not putting more time into myself and my craft, hanging around the wrong crowd as a teen, being broken in many ways to the point where you can feel my tenseness around you, having epilepsy, and so much more. But I’m still successful, I’m still living blessed to wake up each morning and experience the life that I do. Stress less and keep pushing.
