Dj Swiggs is back like he never left. We went from “The Connect, The Connect, The Connect,” to Connect Nation as of December 21st. Connect Nation decided to carry on the name not only for the culture, but for the city of Plainfield, for the legacy of Mrs.Karen.
Dj Swiggs took a 9 year vacation from club music to better himself; and determined Jerseyclub is is home, it’s where he belongs. Swiggs had worked so hard to create a dance team who actually wanted a different name for Plainfield, and others saw that. Franklin wasn’t gonna have “Team Frankin,” Plainfield/Newark, and whoever else wasn’t gonna have Cartel Music, Newark wasn’t gonna have Brick Bandits without Plainfield having ” The Connect ” (which is now Connect Nation), with Swigg’s mindset.
All teams have come together as a team to put Jerseyclub on the map, as well as battled each other just because, Jerseyclub dancing is fun; lemme see whatchu’ workin’ with. Some of Swigg’s major hits and collabs include “Get Gassed“, “Come Ride This Thing,” (Tokyo) appearing in major events such as the Jerseyclub Awards; and now he’s back with soooo much more. As we get reacquainted, let’s talk about Dj Swiggs, L-Spiz, and Flyytheproducer’s “Motivation.” Swiggs came back with that same animosity and determination, EXCEPT better. He never lost that touch, that voice that’ll move ya’ll to the left, to the right, etc. Already back on Instagram live, and my downloads are waiting! It all started from little dance meetings at Mcdonald’s to discussing their next move. From Ace’s clothing store, everybody was in there, to Washington elementary school to shoot videos. He never stood still. Wait til’ you see what’s up next. #Connectnation.
