There are millions of people in this world, many of whom we know, and many of whom we don’t know. You don’t have to be related to or know somebody in order to do something nice for them. Something as simple as rode side assistance to just being an encouraging friend. More specifically in my situation, people who take certain medicines or have certain medical conditions tend to get fed up. We all go through things that people don’t understand and tend to talk or think down on ourselves.
My friend of whom I haven’t seen in a long time called me with thoughts of suicide due to the many medical issues that he has. It was great knowing that I saved the day and life of someone by simply giving an ear and turning the day into laughs. Of course each day I check up on him to make sure he’s doing okay, and he is, stronger than ever. Every good deed doesn’t have to do with someone in a negative light. There are good deeds such as donating to shelters, recycling, and cleaning. We all can contribute and be a great help for the community and each other, there are youngings who look up to us. Whatever we do, our little siblings, cousins, and kids look up to us and would like to follow in our food steps so why not be greater? All it takes is one good deed, and one person from “the hood” to do so, and watch everybody follow. Ain’t you tired of loosing family due to pointless street beefs and irrelevant issues? THINK.
