This Butterfly ..

Sometimes when there’s no one around, and even when you missed those who have passed, we tend to try to find a way to connect with them. It’s normal to miss someone, and it’s also normal to feel signs from a loved one who has passed, don’t let nobody tell you otherwise, they hear you!

So this morning, I had the house to my self, and there are angels and pictures of my Grandma everywhere in our China cabinet. I got up, got myself together, and started cleaning, and I looked at her picture and I prayed to her. I thought she didn’t hear me, so I sung a song as crazy as it sounds. I went outside for a bit to chill and see what the weather would be like as I do each morning, staring at the door. An orange butterfly flew and landed right on the door. That butterfly sat on that door so pretty, I was able to grab a few pictures, and as soon as I went to open the door of course it flew away. I felt so free the moment it landed on the door. Aside from the fact that Spring is basically here and ready, I felt something different. I believe, as well as google, that butterflies have some significance with spirit.

Butterflies are deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life.” via gardenswithwings.com . Exactly what I needed to hear. Just because someone isn’t here with you today in the physical world doesn’t mean they don’t live with you everyday in your heart and spirit. Good Morning!
