It’s always a nice time when networking behind the scenes comes to life, especially on your birthday. What an amazing birthday surprise. Yall know I love music, so of course I had to be there in the front row to watch my man 908 shut the scene down. One thing about 908 is, he knows what he wants, and he’s going to get it even if it’s out of his league at that moment. He makes things happen in a way where everyone is comfortable, very family-orientated, and I do mean VERY, on both ends. He does it for Jersey, The love and dedication he has put in, and consistently puts forth are steps that aren’t always planned, and that’s one of the things I love best about 908. You never know what you’re gonna get out of him at any given moment. “OKAEEEE”!

On the day of 908‘s video shoot, during his performance, the love was real. His city showed him love dancing to his song while he was in the process of recording. You don’t see that too often nowadays, you don’t see an old man in the middle of the street dancing, people are too prideful to ride past and say “Yo that’s hard, keep it up,” but it was something about Getting Sturdy that had the city on pause. My knees ain’t that good anymore, but I’ll tell you one thing, whether he was able to get it done or not, 908 and his son both Got Sturdy. The song is a HIT, especially when it’s turned all the way up, you got your shades on, and you’re probably about to get ready for an event, we know how that goes. With 908 being very versatile, just as much as he is in music, he was very versatile with his locations. He wanted to show love back to his city the correct way, so he picked special locations. Showing love to your city isn’t always about thanking those out loud in the middle, which he did, but remembering where you came from. 908 chose to shoot from where he grew up, which gives you a view of then to now, and a big thanks to those around. It brings encouragement to know, you weren’t forgotten in the process of his success.

Okay here’s the thing, everyone can’t catch a beat when rapping, this beat was well produced by Filthy, to where 908 had multiple choices of how he wanted to come about the song. “Get Sturdy,” was definitely a great choice. If it’s something he doesn’t like, we gon’ run it back until he does like it. His preparation for the song in general labels DETERMINED. Even during the video shoot, if a dance move was off “Run that back,” which made it easier for Madmaxshotyou as he was able to perfectly clip the section into a wonderful video you’re about to come in contact with, or maybe you should’ve paid attention because HERE is where 908 and his son got sturdy! It doesn’t end here, 9 What’s next?
