This question here is absolutely amazing. There is never enough knowledge, even with two degrees, I still learn something new each day. It could be a different way to cook, a different way to clean, or even things revolving my business. As a person in business, you have so much coming at you at one time, and the main thing I’ve learned is that patience is key, but also “Everybody wanna be famous, nobody wanna put the time in,”. It is very important to be open-minded, and understand when someone is trying to help you, and not knock you down. As business owners, some of us can’t take constructive criticism, and that’s a very important necessity in life. You need others around who have already been through, or are going through the same as you to help better one another.
In life the same thing applies, I am 30 years old, and still find myself learning new ways of life such as learning to forgive, and forget, learning that everything happens for a reason. I’ve always stated that my purpose in life was to help everyone, and I’m finally realizing that is not my job. My purpose in life has shifted from “existing,” to “living,”. I’ve always felt the need to carry everyone’s burden on my shoulders because I hated to see people down, but we forget that trials and tribulations happen for a reason. You have to go through it in order to grow through it. If I continued saving everyone, they would then depend on me for everything, and that’s not the way life should go, because God forbid, what if I wasn’t there? I’ve even started teaching my bonus children that I’ll hold your hand during the walk over the first few stones, but I eventually have to let your hand go so that you understand to pay attention to where you are walking, who is walking with you in need, and what is in front of you (hypothetically speaking).
I’ve also learned that time waits for no one. Rain, shine, snow, or sleet, life goes on. There are still a few goals in life that I haven’t touched just yet, but I’ve learned different ways to reach those goals. I am a very talkative person, which also shows that I love to learn. I’m interested in everyone’s story, because there is always something I can learn to better myself, my life, or what not to do, in order to keep it going as expected. Stay open-minded to other people’s inputs and thoughts. Stay open-minded to constructive criticism, the littlest thing can make the biggest change.

“Beautifully written! Embracing constructive criticism and shifting from just ‘existing’ to truly ‘living’ through continuous learning is a powerful reminder for us all.”
