Life With Out Jersey Club đźĄş

What would your life be like without music?

Cleaning is easier when Jersey Club is playing. It doesn’t matter if the song is directional, or just a song that rocks your hips automatically, but I’m going to get my house cleaned a lot quicker than doing it with another style of music. As a female, when your man ain’t home, or you’re going through whatever, you want to listen to slow songs that you can sing and relate to. Not me, that boy’s a liarrr, the broom goes from one hand to the other, and my feet are going crazy.

Jersey Club has saved the lives of many producers, upcoming producers, and communities. Newark, NJ was commonly known as an area in NJ with a high crime rate. Every since New Jersey has come together in many ways including PBNJ, everyone is waiting for the next fire event out there. This shouldn’t be just for Newark, NJ, Jersey Club, but for every community. Claim the name you started in Grandma’s house because you looked up to Tim Dolla, Tameil, Mike V, and whomever else. These DJs and Producers all have a unique stance in Jersey Club, and a major effect. Tameil paved the way for Jersey Club himself in 2001, by not just staying in Jersey Club, but Baltimore Club. That’s one thing about Jersey, we show LOVE! Tim Dolla created more than just a crazy crowd control, he created history, SWING THAT SH*T. You weren’t fighting at a Dolla party, and those who did things they aren’t so proud of today grasped their sense of realization. He paved the way of confidence, he paved the way for the community to come together. He was the reason many picked up a laptop and wanted to learn Jersey Club. Tameil kept the legacy going in his own way but is not only still heavily locked in with Jersey Club, and he has mentored or set an example for those who produce today. I say this to say, that you’ll never hear those names being frowned upon, and to be honest, Brick Bandits played a major roll in the legacy of Jersey Club itself.

I pay attention to a lot of the things that go on today with the culture now versus then. I used to swing that sh*t, I used to listen to those live mixes and producer battles, I came from a different era of Jersey Club. “Do it with your own style, and work together to claim our name back”, great words of Mike V. I think we’re all starting to realize that the industry has adapted to Jersey Club, but doesn’t fully understand where it came from. When you watch something that you put the continuous effort into just slowly deteriorate because people are worried about all the wrong things, it is saddening. Jersey Club saved a lot of lives, but “We can’t change the world unless we change ourselves.” – Notorious B.I.G

Although many may not produce or DJ so heavily anymore, we still get together for what we love. We still show love to one another. We’re hearing less of “I produced that first,” and more of “Let’s make it again,” or “Send me that zip.” A song can be reproduced many times and all ways can sound completely different. One style could have used more chops, the other probably had some of the best vocals like “Turn that sh*t down, you gettin’ on my f*cking nerves!” To have that alone in your song was exclusive. Things have evolved to wear everything has become accessible for anybody, but if you’re gonna learn, learn the correct way. Here are some pages you should follow to keep up with Jersey Club Music. What’s absolutely amazing is, that those who have been here before, are now helping claim our name back, show you where Jersey Club really came out, and are coming out to events because before everything started, we were once a family, nothing’s changed but the confidence level. “Claim our name and stop going against each other, those on the outside are looking at us, the original creators, going against each other and we shouldn’t be doing that.” – Mike V.

With the recent upcoming Jersey Rappers and artists, one thing about them is they haven’t forgotten where they came from and what they are listening to. You can tell when things are legit, and you can tell when it’s just for fame. As these artists make music videos with Jersey Club producers like Smallz for example, they set the trend of crowd control, THERE IS NONE! The kids, and families are going crazy to these beats, and that’s where we slowly started to gain our name back. Coi Leray, Ice Spice, we see you! Unlike Hurricane Chris who went from “Aye when I holla aye bay bay, I’m finna get my grove on,” to “That’s my bay,” if anybody recognized it, Kia we sure did, and needless to say, that was another moment where Jersey realized exactly who we were. Be proud to show out, real Uniiqu3.
